Golf Scramble is held
The annual Prairie Booster Club Golf Scramble was held this past Saturday, Sept. 18, at the Grangeville Country Club.
Taking first place was Advanced Welding Team #1, who donated their $300 first prize back to the Booster Club. Team members were Ryan, Noel & Eve Uhlenkott, Dick Genny and Chris Lamont.
Taking 2nd place was Stacked Team, which won $200. Team members were Greg Danly, Bryan Higgins, Rod Eckert and Darrell Berry.
Taking third was the Bruner-Secrest team of Kellie Bruner, Jack Secrest, Haley Minnihan and Mark Vanderwall. Their prize was $100.
The long drive winners were Kellie Bruner for the women/youth competition and Ryan Uhlenkott for the men. Prizes were $20.
Long putt winners were Dick Geary for the men with a putt of 16 feet and Devin Schmidt for the youth with a putt of 10 inches.
There were 11 teams entered this year.
Donations to the prizes and barbecue were Inland Cellular, Sonnen Meats, The Studio, Hairs to You, Prairie Booster Club, Colleen Sonnen, Prairie Teachers, Hoene Hardware and Bent Fork Station.
