Scouts receive popcorn sale awards
The Scouts from Troop/Pack 638 received their popcorn awards.
Boys in the photo holding marshmallow crossbows belong to the $600 club. We had two top sellers this year. Dakota Wilson and Hunter Chaffee each sold over $1500. All of these boys have a goal in mind to go to summer camp this next year.
We would like to thank all of you in the community for supporting our boys and helping them reach their goals.
Drew Cochran did a uniform inspection for the Cub Scouts. He asked them various questions about their rank and encouraged them to “Do their best.”
Seth Chaffee was presented with his Den Chief award by Dan Karel. Seth worked with the younger Scouts for over a year, helping at Den meetings and preparing them for their once a month pack meeting.
During the next couple of months the Cub Scouts will be working out of their book to accomplish what they need for rank advancement for the upcoming 2011 Blue and Gold Banquet. Troop boys are working on Merit Badges to help them get toward their goal of Eagle Scout.
We wish all of you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
