theatre tryouts are March 10
Just a reminder, Missoula Children’s Theatre is not coming to town this year, but the Center For Discovery is sponsoring a week long theatre event. Michelle Huttash along with her daughter Andrea Hall are new to our area and would like to work with students in Cottonwood to put on a play, much like the MCT productions. We would have tryouts on Thursday, March 10 from after school until 5:30 at the Cottonwood Community Hall. Then starting on Monday, March 14 practice will be held at the Prairie Elementary School Gym until Wednesday with the dress rehearsal Thursday, March 17 at Prairie High School with the play taking place on Friday, March 18 at 1:00 and 7:00. All area students in Kindergarten through twelfth grade are welcome to try out and each student that does will be given a part. The name of the production is “Trolls and the Land of Faye” If you have any questions please feel free to contact Erin Shears at 962-7080 or 962-5541. To help sponsor this event we have had many generous donations from our local business valued at over $600.00. With these donations we are doing a gift raffle to help cover cost of the production of “The Land of Fae”. Raffle tickets are just a dollar and will be available by the end of this week. |
