Farm Bureau contests
The Art Design Contest promotes the arts and furthers the understanding of agriculture in our lives by using this contest in the classroom. The theme is Idaho Agriculture. This contest is for Grades 6 - 8, in the school year of 2010-2011 and is open to all Public, Private and Home schooled students. Entries must be water color, color pencil, ink, pastels, oils, etc. Sorry, no computer generated artwork will be accepted. Only original designs will be accepted. Prizes are: District - 1st place $50.00, 2nd place $25.00 and 3rd place is $25.00. On the State level, prizes are: 1st place $75.00, 2nd place $50.00 and 3rd place is $25.00. All entries become the property of Idaho Farm Bureau Women's Leadership Committee and will not be returned. Keep in mind, winning designs will be used for printed materials to be used by the Women's Leadership Committee. Students: the deadline is April 1, 2011; mail entries to: IFBF Women, PO Box 4848, Pocatello ID 83205-4848. So get your artwork completed and in the mail soon. Apllication deadline Scholarship applications for Idaho County Farm Bureau graduating seniors must be to the county office (Idaho County Farm Bureau, 104 S A St. Grangeville ID 83530) by March 15.
