Blood drive set for April 12
Each year, spring brings new life in nature.  Birds are singing, flowers are blooming and the sun is shining.  The American Red Cross invites you to celebrate the joys of renewal and help save lives by donating blood or platelets during the month of April.
The American Red Cross helps saves lives each day by managing nearly half of the nation’s blood supply.  Blood is needed every day, not just in emergencies or after a national tragedy.  In the United States, every two seconds someone needs blood.  It must be readily available for accident victims, routine surgeries, people with rare blood disorders, and even some premature babies.
Any healthy person age 17 or older and weighing at least 110 pounds may be eligible to donate blood. Valid identification is required for all blood donations.
All eligible donors are asked to schedule an appointment to donate blood by calling either Brenda Kaschmitter at 962-3251 or Cheri Holthaus at 962-2327.  Please help save a life and donate blood-it only takes an hour of your time.
