Auction items attracting attention
Three Coeur d’Alene Resort vacation packages, two nights stay at the Hotel McCall, a white water river adventure and two five gallon kegs of a regional micro brewery beer are just a few of the auction items ready for bidding at the Saturday, May 14th Dancing with the Stars fundraiser for St. Mary’s Hospital and Clinics.
Only 200 tickets $30 each will be sold so guests should reserve a spot soon by calling Cheri Holthaus, 962-2327 or Jim May, 476-8052.  The fundraiser will also include a catered dinner, a funny money casino and dancing to a DJ specializing in big band sounds. Doors at the Cottonwood Community Center will open at 5:00 for a social hour.  Dinner will be served at 6:00 p.m. From 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. an auctioneer will seek bids for both live and silent auctions.  Dancing will begin at 8:00 and the Funny Money Casino will be open from 9:30 to 11:30.
“We’re planning something for everyone so a good time will be had by all,” said Jim May, SMHC Development Director. “Our planning committee is working hard to make this a successful friend and fundraising event.  We need to know soon how many people will be attending so we can let our caterer know how many to expect.  It’s a great way to see family, friends and support award winning local healthcare at the same time.”
Silent and Live auction items include two sets of handmade doll clothing made for the American Girl series; a Coeur d’Alene Resort Deluxe Room “Gold Medal Golf” package, one night deluxe accommodations and two rounds of golf at the Resort Golf Course; Coeur d’Alene Resort Deluxe SPAtacular Package, one night premier deluxe accommodations and two 50 minute Spa services. Coeur d’Alene Resort Premier Lakeview Stay and Cruise Package, one night premier lakeview accommodations and two adult scenic cruise tickets.  Also Cabela’s Fly Fishing Kit  which includes a fly rod, reel, net, hat, and fly fishing tool kit; A two night stay in Hotel McCall.
Riverside Brewing (Clarkston, WA) is offering two 5 gal kegs of freshly brewed beer. ROW Adventures has donated a one night accommodation in a two bedroom cabin and a one day Lochsa River Trip for two. Basalt Cellars has contributed a mixed case of premium wine.
Tickets are $30 per person.  All proceeds will benefit the programs and services of St. Mary’s Hospital and their five satellite medical clinics.  Tickets can also be purchased at SMH, Grangeville Physical Therapy, the Kamiah Medical Clinic and Cedar Creek Creations and True Value Hardware in Kamiah, plus US Bank in Cottonwood.
