37 to graduate Friday
37 students will graduate at Prairie High School this Friday, May 27, with commencement services starting at 7 p.m. at the PHS gym.
Valedictorian Silas Whitley will lead the class with Seth Guyer as Salutatorian.
Students earning high honors with a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or higher are Meaghan Bruner, Brock Heath, Kayla Johnson, Mike Karel and Dominic (D.J.) Walker.
Students earning honors with a 3.0 to 3.49 grade point average are Randy Becker, Elizabeth Clark, Danielle Cochran, Alexander Dale, Kendra Dinning, Beau Schlader, Devin Schmidt, Sheri Schumacher and Cassandra Temes.
Rounding out the class are Lauren Beshears, Kyle Bruegeman, Merannda Chaffee, Tyler Cooper, Alyssa Copeland, Justin Cox, Ryan Dalgliesh, Shelby Duman, Alison Goldmeer, Lindsay Heitman, David Johnson, Francesca Johnson, Mitch Jungert, Shauna Kaschmitter, Sheldon Klinkefus, Colton Nuxoll, Haleigh Schmidt, Kylee Simmons, Tianna Williams and Garrett Workman.
The 37th student is Andrew Ingram who was a senior last year but didn't finish all his required classes until the first semester this year and will be walking with the class of 2011. 
The class flower this year is the daisy while the class colors are red and black flannel.
The class song is “Here’s to the Nights” by Eve 6 and the class motto is “If you can imagine it, You can achieve it: If you can dream it, You can become it.”
