Prairie High School of Cottonwood was recently awarded as one of 19 high schools in the state of Idaho to receive a bronze medal ranking or better in the U.S. News & World Report ranking of the top high schools in the United States.
17 of those 19 high schools, including Prairie, received a bronze ranking with one silver and one gold.
Other area schools awarded were Deary, Kamiah and Nezperce. Coeur d’Alene Charter received the state’s only gold award while Boise High School was the silver winner.
