Letters to the editor from this week's Chronicle:

To whom it may concern,
It is with deep gratitude and sadness that the Tri-Co Board accepted the resignation of Charlotte Dasenbrock, a lifelong friend and fighter for the people with disabilities. Effective July 31st, but until then Charlotte will take time for vacation with her family and friends.
Charlotte began 30 years ago with the Tri-Co Disability Workshop. She has helped maintain high standards in workmanship and quality of life for all of our clients. In her time at the helm of Tri-Co we have bought a building in Craigmont allowing us to have a Thrift Shop and enlarge the woodshop thus to provide the best equipment and training for everyone on staff. She has worked effectively to maintain a positive work effect in the communities we serve and their businesses. She will be missed by all, but does deserve a great and peaceful retirement.
Retirement party for Charlotte will be held at Tri Co on Thursday, July 28 from 2 to 4 p.m. Everyone welcome to come for cake and punch.
Sincerely,
Board Members of Tri Co.
Virginia Frazier, Chairman
