Turn bay to be added at Jentges Road
A highway widening project and construction of a new turn bay at the U.S. 95-Jentges Road junction approximately 4.5 miles north of Cottonwood began Monday, August 1, the Idaho Transportation Department announced. Completion is expected by the end of September.
The project includes asphalt shoulders, and upgraded guardrail and terminal sections between mileposts 258 and 259.
Jentges Road and Substation Road will be closed at the U.S. 95 junction during construction. Traffic will be detoured from Jentges Road to Greencreek Road, and Substation Road traffic will be routed onto Pierce Road.
Motorists should expect minor delays of up to 15 minutes during construction. Flaggers will direct traffic.
M.L. Albright & Sons, of Lewiston, is the contractor for the $1.25 million project.
