High School Rodeo held at Grangeville
The first high school rodeo of the season took place in Grangeville September 26th and 27th.  
Prairie High School was well represented with a team total of 80 points.  Callie Mader currently leads the team with a contribution of 40 points and right behind her is MaKayla Schaeffer with 36. 
 With a time of 15.540 including a five second penalty for only one leg catch, Schaeffer and partner Ryder Johnson from Kamiah took the first place spot in Team Roping.  Kelsey Tidwell placed second in breakaway with a good time of 7.220.  Mader took home a 5th and 3rd  in Barrels, an 8th and 3rd in Poles and a 5th and 2nd in Goat Tying.  Schaeffer placed 3rd and 4th in Barrels, 5th in Poles, 6th in Break a way and 1st in Team Roping.   
The next rodeo will be held in Cambridge October 15th and 16th.  This will end the fall season and the rodeo series will begin again in April.
