and Brew entries due Tuesday
May I have your attention Please! Don't miss out on a full evening of die Nahrung, der Spaf and der Kittel, aka: Food, Fun and Frolic, Saturday, November 5th. at the 3rd annual Bräts and Brew beginning at 5 p.m. with the "Brew" tasting, followed by the Bräts and other delicious entries at 6 p.m. A live auction and live music will follow. Door prizes and drawings will occur throughout the evening. die Barre will be available. Advance tickets are $15.00 per person or $20.00 at the door. Only 200 tickets will be sold. Tables may be reserved for a party of 10. Don't miss out on this once a year event. Entries for Brats, Brew and all food must be in by November 1st. Entry forms may be picked up at the Library or by contacting Laurine at 962-8691 or Donna at 962-3561. Entrants will receive 1 free event ticket. Prizes will be awarded to the "People's Choice" winner in each category. The categories are Beer, Sausage, Salad, Side Dish and Dessert. Entrants should prepare enough food for suggested serving size of: SAUSAGE, 1/2 INCH piece. BEER, 1 oz. SIDE DISH, SALAD and DESSERT is ONE TABLE SPOON and BREAD is 1/2 SLICE. Scalloped potatoes and home made sauerkraut will also be served compliments of the Library Board. Again: November 1st. is the deadline for entries to allow time to organize, number and identify each entry for voting. All proceeds to benefit the Library. Congratulations to Laurie Karel, last week's winner of two free event tickets, and the first caller to translate the German sentence. The answer was "My friends and I want to go to the Library". For the next two weeks stay tuned to KORT, the local radio station. Perhaps you may be a winner of two free tickets by being the first to give the correct answer to German trivia questions.
