Library News
It is approaching zero hour.  Saturday night, November 5th is the date for the third annual Bräts and Brew fund raiser for the Prairie Community Library.  Do you have your tickets yet?  Did you get your entry forms in before the deadline?  The home made kraut is ready.  Are you ready for an  fun filled evening enjoying food and live music with friends?  Tickets are going fast as folks want to get the advance ticket price of $15.  You may even be a winner of free tickets if you are listening to KORT this week.  Lot's of things are happening so don't be left out.
The newest book in the Library should have been mentioned last week so the young readers could have enjoyed it before Halloween but it is such a cute read with wonderful pictures it can be enjoyed any season.  It is titled Witches Ball and begins with, "There's a full moon tonight, and to their delight the witches are having a ball".  Whoop it up with Bennie Bones, Witch Gilda and the ghastly gang as they dance the night away at The Witches Ball.  It is written by Donna Hilbert Zellers, daughter of Mike and Julie Hilbert and sister of Bobbie Schmidt.  Donna now lives in Madison, Wisconsin.  The book is dedicated to her grandchildren who inspired her.   It will join the Local Author display.  A big Library Thank You to the patron who purchased the book and donated it to the Library.  There are many other great books in the Library so don't be a stranger.  Check them out.
