Library News
With Thanksgiving this week, the Library will be closed both Thursday, Thanksgiving day and also on Saturday to allow the workers to spend time with their own families.  If you have books due during this time just call the Library at 962-3714 and leave a message to renew the book.
We apologize if this causes any inconvenience.
Thanks to Donna for covering the Bräts and Brew in last week's paper while I was spending time with family, fishing the Salmon river.  Luckily the Bräts and Brew was much more successful than my fishing adventure. That's another story.   Once again, a heartfelt thank you to each and everyone who so generously gave of their time and donations to make the event so worth while.  A big old Prairie thank you to the Coffey twins and the Satins for providing such delightful music and entertainment.  We continue to receive compliments on their performance.  They have been invited to be here again next year if scheduling permits.  The date for the 4th annual 2012 Bräts and Brew is November 3rd, so mark your new Community  Calendar with that date.  As in the past there will be only 200 tickets sold.  Start experimenting early with those German recipes and enter the competition next year.  You may be a prize winner.
Special events are being planned for the Library during the month of December and details will be forthcoming. Several new arrivals are now on the shelf for your reading pleasure.  Most recent are for the young adults so if you recently requested a book, stop by and see if it has arrived.  That's a wrap for this week.  Have a wonderful Thanksgiving.
