There were 36 students who earned perfect 4.0 grade point averages at Prairie Junior/Senior High School for the First Quarter of the 2011-12 school year. They were Mckenzie Canalot, Samantha Keating, MaKayla Schaeffer and Megan Sigler in the senior class; Ashley Cannon, Kade Perrin, Tanna Schlader and Claire Whitley in the junior class; Beka Bruner, Clark Bruno, Abi Chmelik, Drew Cochran, Casey Danly, Joseph Goldmeer, Shaney Perrin and Dakota Wilson in the sophomore class; Stellina Laurino, Emily McHugh, Jessie Riener, Whitney Sonnen and Savannah Walsh in the freshman class, Jake Bruner, Hailey Danly, Marisa Lustig, Talyss Lustig, Maria Munger, Sarah Seubert, Abbie Uhlenkott and Krystin Uhlenkott in the 8th grade and Selena Davila, Darlene Gehring, Stephanie Jungert, Todd Ott, Laina Sonnen, Kylie Tidwell and Shaye Uptmor in the 7th grade.
