Library News
The Library will be closed from December 23 to January 3rd so be sure and check out your reading material for Christmas break by December 22.  Books due during this time will be extended to the first Tuesday of January if not left in the drop box at the back of the building.  We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
The coloring contest has started so you kids, be sure to color your picture carefully, bring it to the library and receive a free book.  Your artistic talent is posted on the bulletin board for everyone to enjoy.
Several have dropped in to enjoy the display of Peg and Vern Uhlorn's talents.  Peg's paintings and Vern's wood craft are well worth your time, so stop and enjoy them.  If you need that last minute gift for someone special, perhaps a hand turned bowl or vase would be just the thing.  Come by and take a look.
Several books are available for a small fee that would make nice Christmas gifts also.  There are too many to name with quite a selection of authors.
The Library crafts and story hour for the kiddies will be at 3 pm December 18.  Drop the kids off while you do some shopping and they will be ready to go just before the parade starts.  Don't forget to bring your contest picture in soon.
