Girl Scouts complete service project
In October of last year, Ciara Chaffee, a Junior in Troop 3785 started a service project to collect canned food for the shelter home in Cottonwood.
The girls have been bringing food items to their meetings for the past three months.
On Monday the 9th of January, the girls delivered two boxes of food.  Also included with the food items were hand made felt hats for the residents.  Our troop will be working on a few more hats so there will be one for each resident.
The shelter home has been very generous in donating to our troop in the past and this was a little something we could do in return as a big thank you.
