Remember Patrick
On Christmas eve 2010, Patrick J. Kopczynski died suddenly in Las Vegas, Nev. He was 38 years of age.
Patrick left behind two wonderful boys, Sebastian and Elliot, mother Barbara and father Ed, formerly of Cottonwood, sisters Erica and Andrea and their families.
Patrick was born June 10, 1972 in Portland, Oregon and spent most of his growing up years in Saudi Arabia. He was a loving father and was forever dedicated to the welfare of his two boys. He attended St. martin’s College, operated a business in Rome, Italy (becoming fluent in Italian) and obtained a CFII (helicopter) license through Hillsboro Aviation, worked for RHI Creative in Seattle, and was heading to San Diego for a job with a previous employer at the time of his death.
A Merrill Lynch account has been established to assist his sister, Andrea, in the care of the boys and a special collection is being undertaken for this purpose. See www.rememberpatrick.com. This special collection is meant to assist in the education and care of his boys who are being cared for in Minnesota by Patrick’s sister Andrea and her husband Craig Peterson along with their own 4 children. Andrea’s children have adjusted amazingly well to their new brothers and both Sebastian and Elliot are doing fine, making new friends, performing well in school and playing hockey. Peterson is the hockey coach in the school where he teaches.
This special collection will be open through February 2012 with the collected amount transferred in full (less WEPay collection fees) to an account managed by Merrill Lynch in Minnesota. An acknowledgement of your donation will be sent via email, and a credit to the total collected funds will show up on the web page site. Your assistance is greatly appreciated.
The Merrill Lynch account can be used directly if you wish for specified amounts, or your donation can be spread out over a period as may be desired.
The account is managed by:
