is new fire chief
The Cottonwood City Council met on Wednesday, Feb. 8 for their regular February meeting as they would not have had a quorum available for the regular Feb. 13 date.
In the reports the only thing of note was that in the fire department report Ron Grant noted that Rod Behler has stepped down as fire chief while Grant also resigned his post with the department. Greg Sonnen was elected by the firemen as the new chief and he was approved for the position by the Council.
The VEBA health reimbursement program was tabled until the next meeting as they are waiting for information from city attorney Joe Wright.
