centers to go to weekly basis
It will no longer be necessary to stockpile recycling for a month, or two, or possibly three, if you happen to miss recycling day. Both the Kooskia and Grangeville sites will now be open on a weekly basis with new hours. Grangeville, located across from the Depot on Day Road, will be open on Saturdays from 9:00 to 11:00 starting on March 17th. The recently completed Kooskia site is open on Saturdays from 10:00 to 12:00 and also on Thursday's from 4:00 to 6:00 P. M. The site is located at the bottom of the Winona Grade Rd, just west of the South Fork Clearwater and the RR tracks, across from the Avista power plant. Take B Avenue off Main Street (Hwy 13), cross the river, turn left one block and follow the signs. It is across from the Kooskia Medical Clinic on Ridgewood. The continued encouragement and support of dedicated volunteers, the generosity of the communities, and the growing number of recyclers has made the new sites and extended hours possible. Thank you to all who have carefully sorted, patiently saved, and diligently delivered products to the sites. Because of your efforts Idaho County has a successful recycling program.
