Summit competes at Kamiah meet
Nicole Wemhoff placed 2nd in the 800 meter run to lead Summit Academy’s efforts at an 8-team track meet at Kamiah Thursday, March 29.
She also placed 16th in the 100 in 15.4 and 11th in the long jump at 12’1”.
Sarah Chmelik placed 3rd in the long jump at 14’7½” and was 13th in the 100 in 15.1.
Brooke Schumacher placed 8th in the 100 in 14.6, 5th in the 200 in 31.3 and 8th in the long jump at 13’7”.
Kayla Schumacher placed 10th in the 100 in 14.9, 9th in the 200 in 32.5 and 6th in the long jump at 13’9”.
The 4x100 team of Brooke Schumacher, Wemhoff, Chmelik and Kayla Schumacher placed 4th in 57.0.
For the boys Dan Wemhoff placed 12th in the 100 in 12.81, 11th in the 200 in 27.75 and 12th in the long jump at 14’4”.
Josh Frei placed 8th in the 1600 in 6:44. He also ran the 800 but no time or placing was available.
