Summit team competes at Kamiah
The Summit girls medley relay placed third at an 11 school track meet Tuesday, April 17 at Kamiah, the highest finish for the Patriots.
The team of Nicole Wemhoff, Brooke Schumacher, Kayla Schumacher and Sarah Chmelik had a time of 2:11.6.
The 4x100 relay comprised of the same four girls placed 4th with a time of 57.2.
Wemhoff was the top individual finisher with a 4th place finish in the 800 meters in 3:02.6.
Chmelik was 5th in the 100 in 14.14 while Brooke Schumacher was 10th in 14.5.
Chmelik was 6th in the long jump at 14’2½” while Kayla Schumacher was 8th at 12’2½”.
Kayla Schumacher took 7th in the 200 meters in 30.87.
As a team the girls placed 9th with 26 points.
Dan Wemhoff scored the boys’ teams 2 points that tied them for 10th with a 7th place finish in the long jump at 17’2½”.
He was also 19th in the 100 in 13.0 and 20th in the 200 in 26.70.
Josh Frei ran both the 800 and 1600 but no times or placings were available.
