Wow! What a week. Anyone who did not make it to the Idaho County Fair certainly missed what a family oriented "down home" fair is all about. Although attendance seemed down, excitement prevailed. There was something for everyone and far too much for a one day visit. Kudos to the participants in the Talent and Fashion Show. You all were great. Congratulations to Kayla Rehder, winner of the Library 50/50 drawing. Even though things were rather slow at the Library, the booth at the fair was abuzz with activity. The kids loved it thanks to board member, Jan Schnider and everyone who volunteered their time manning the booth. Back at the Library, Caldecott, Newbery, and a variety of other new books are now available for the younger readers along with a nice selection of adult reading material. The Library is a "Cool" place to be during these hot summer days. |
