Library News
The Library will be open Saturday the 15th. From 10 am to 1 pm.
There was an abundance of activity at the Library last week. We are privileged to have Artist of the Month, Therese Schmidt, sharing her many talents. The portraits of family members along with landscape scenes
Chain saw art and children’s furniture are on display. A wall hanging of two Zebras are so detailed they look like they had just strolled into the room. Everything is a “must see”. Drop in and enjoy the display.
Jerry Richardson, wood shop teacher, delivered a new computer desk that was constructed for the library by Luke Arnzen and Levi Lustig. The board would like to thank these two young men and Mr. Richardson for the needed and very appreciated piece of furniture.
Robert Jull happened into the library later that day and found the volunteers attempting to move the bulletin board. He very generously gathered tools and materials including a new cork board from home and installed it very professionally, creating a much better display area. Thank you Robert. It was immediately put to use by the youngsters entering the Christmas coloring contest. Each child entering the contest will receive a free book. If you did not receive one, please stop by and ask the volunteer about it. Contest pictures are available at the library.
