Summit girls defeat Orofino
The Summit Lady Patriots picked up their second win against Orofino this season, winning 52-22 at Craigmont Saturday, Jan. 5.
Summit jumped on Summit early as they took a 14-2 lead after one quarter. They led 27-8 at the half and 38-14 after 3 quarters.
Summit had just 6 turnovers and committed just 5 fouls in the contest.
Megan Seubert and Megan Rehder each had a double-double as Seubert had 12 points and 15 rebounds and Rehder had 11 points and 10 rebounds. Sarah Chmelik was also in double figures in the scoring column with 11 points. Rachael Frei added 8 points, Abi Chmelik 6 points and Jolene Chmelik 4 points.
Summit evens their record at 6-6 on the season.
