Manuracturer's outreach meeting set
Area manufacturers are invited to attend the American Manufacturer Network (AMN) Outreach Meeting being held at the Red Lion Hotel in Lewiston, Thursday, February 21, 2013, 2:00p.m. – 3:45p.m.
This workshop is to introduce the American Manufacturer Network (AMN) to area manufacturers and to discuss AMN services and government contracting.   AMN’s goal is to help small manufacturers overcome challenges associated with securing government contracts, particularly those with the Department of Defense. In the past four months, the AMN has helped small manufacturers’ secure six contracts totaling between $1 million and $1.5 million and provided services to a number of other manufacturers in Eastern Washington and Idaho.
By the end of this workshop a small manufacturer will understand how the AMN can help them break into the government contracting market, they will know what hands on help is available  to them along the way, and they will be introduced to new methods to increasing their profits.
Discussion topics will include marketing your capabilities to federal agencies, promoting your subcontracting to government prime contractors, quality management systems and more.  New members will receive a complimentary subscription to bid management software.
RSVPs are encouraged and can be made by calling 208-503-6313 or email kdahlquist@AMN-usa.org There is no cost to attend.
