Basketball camp set for July
The Camas Prairie Basketball Camp is set for next month.
It is a fundraiser for the Prairie Boys Basketball Team and staffed by Prairie coaches,  former college players and program alumni.  The camp is for boys and girls going into grades 3-9 and runs from July 22-25 from 5-8pm at the Prairie gymnasiums.  It is sure to be fun and educational.
This camp offers instruction in the fundamentals, motivational speakers, lots of games and prizes.
The cost is $55.00 and you can call either Teel Bruner at 962-5542 or Shelley Schlader at 962-8699 for more information.  Registration forms can be picked up and dropped off at Schlader Photography, Cottonwood Credit Union or email Shelley at sschlader@centurylink.net to have one emailed to you.

The Haight Classic
June 22nd, the Saturday of June Picnic, at 1 p.m., there will be a 3-on-3 basketball tournament at the Highland High School gym. Sign-in will start at 12:30 p.m.
You will be allowed 4 players at a cost of $40 per team, plus each player may buy a commemorative t-shirt, if desired. All proceeds go towards the June Picnic Scholarship Fund. The age brackets will be elementary (2nd-5th), junior high (6th-8th) and high school (9th-12th).  Your age bracket will be determined by your oldest player.
I ask that you pre-register so that I know how many teams there will be and how many t-shirts to order. I will be awarding the top team, in each age group, with 1st place medals.
Also, looking for any adult volunteers (20 years or older) that would like to keep score, or be a referee.  Your help would be greatly appreciated.
To get registration forms, please contact Katy Haight at 208-791-5204 or by e-mail at khaight@mtida.net. I look forward to seeing you and your team!  Come, have fun and support the June Picnic Scholarship Fund!
