Dr. Sigler receive awards
St. Mary’s Hospital contracts with the Professional Research Consultants (PRC) to conduct interviews about health and wellness issues. The goal is for PRC to ask a few questions about the healthcare services SMH patients have recently received from the hospital, clinics and physicians. PRC gives out annual awards to facilities and physician who score high in these interviews. Every year PRC speaks personally with more than one million households and recent hospital patients.
St. Mary’s Hospital and Dr. Sigler both received awards for Overall Quality of Care. These awards were presented at the annual PRC Conference in Orlando Florida.
Dr. Sigler received a 5-Star Award. This designation is given annually to healthcare providers who score in the top ten percent; at or above the 90th percentile of the PRC’s national client database. These awards are based on the percentage of patients who rate the provider “Excellent” for the Overall Quality of Doctor Care question. Dr. Sigler has been serving the patients of St. Mary’s Hospital and Clinics since 1984.
St. Mary’s Hospital received a 4-Star Award. This is given to healthcare facilities that score in the top twenty-five percent of PRC’s national client database for the prior calendar year. This is based on the percentage of patients who rate the facility “Excellent” for the Overall Quality of Care question. SMH became of a part of Essentia Health in 1998.
“We would like to thank our community for giving us the opportunity to serve them and their family members,” commented Leianne Everett, Chief Operations Officer for SMH. “We work hard being patient centered.”
