Artistic Angle of Photography
Wed Sept. 18th& 25th; 6-8:30 pm
Instructor:  Shilo Bradley;  $37
Location:  Grangeville Outreach Center
This two session class will begin at the Outreach Center where manual camera functions will be reviewed and then artistic techniques, composition, camera angles and use of light will be taught.  The class will then go to the Lion’s Park to work on a photo challenge and students will also be given a homework assignment.  The second class will be review, questions and then a critique session of the images on how to rules of composition, artistic techniques and light were applied.  The class that will meet on Tuesdays is already filled.  There are just seven seats in this Wednesday evening class.
Selecting Wines with the Bennetts
Wed. Sept. 25th; 6-9 pm
Instructors:  John & Susan Bennett; $35
Location:  Bennett Home
Do you feel bewildered when you peruse the wine section of a store?  Help is on the way!  This class will take the mystery out of selecting appropriate wines for holidays and special dinners.  You will learn the basic wine varieties and how to select wines that are affordable and enjoyable.  The Bennetts will share samples from their personal wine cellar, teach you how to match wines to food, explain the labels of European and other imported wines, and share their ideas for purchasing, storing and enjoying wines.  There are eight seats in this class.
Quickbooks 2013
Thur Sept. 26th& Oct. 3rd; 9:30 am – 12:30 pm
Instructor:  Judy Schumacher; $80
Location:  Grangeville Outreach Center
This class, offered by the Small Business Development Center, will teach you Quickbooks 2013, a computerized accounting system that helps you record sales,  invoice customers, record deposits, enter and track bills, manage inventory, prepare for taxes and review reports for business insights.  Because there’s a lot to remember, you’ll take home a DVD of the student manual.
