Pirates sweep Lapwai
For the second time this season the Prairie Lady Pirates swept Lapwai in a White Pine League volleyball match. This time they won 25-22, 25-18 and 29-27 on Thursday, Sept. 26 at Cottonwood. After pulling out a close first game and winning relatively easily in the second the Pirates found themselves down 15-20 in the third game. From that point they went on a 14-7 rally to pull out the game and the match. Krystin Uhlenkott had 14 kills to lead Prairie on the night while Beka Bruner had 16 digs. They are now 5-2 in league play and 11-2 overall. Prairie also won the JV and C matches.
