Summit wins 2 of 4 matches
The Summit Lady Patriots won 2 of 3 league matches last week as they won at Timberline Tuesday, Oct. 1 25-14, 25-16 and 25-19, lost at Kendrick Thursday, Oct. 3, 25-21, 25-19, 20-25, 13-25, 13-15 and won over Highland at Cottonwood, Monday, Oct. 7, 25-9, 25-15, 25-17.Summit’s Alli Hale goes for a spike against Highland as Rachael Frei, 9, and Megan Rehder, 7, watch.
They also lost to Prairie in 3 games on Monday, that write-up is in the Prairie article.
At Timberline
Other than the scores, no details are available from the Timberline match. 
Summit also won both games of the JV match.
At Kendrick
In the match at Kendrick Summit looked to upset the Tigers as they won the first two games but couldn’t put the host team away as Kendrick rallied back to win the final 3 games.
Kendrick and Summit each won a game in the JV match.
Vs. Highland
In the opening game against Highland Megan Seubert served 5 straight to push the Patriots to a 7-2 lead and Sarah Chmelik followed up with an 8-point service run to push the lead to 16-3. The Patriots coast to an easy 16-point victory.
The second game saw no big service runs but Summit was able to sideout well to keep Highland from gaining any ground while putting together several 2 and 3 point runs to gradually pull away to a 10-point win.
In the third game Highland jumped on top early 1-5 but a 4-point service run by Chmelik, which included 2 aces got Summit right back in the game.
Highland was able to keep it close until Rachael Frei took over serving with the score at 17-15. 3 aces plus 2 kills by Seubert and another by Frei and Summit was up 23-15 and wound up winning by 8.
For the match Alli Hale had 1 kills and 2 aces. Seubert had 9 kills, 2 assists and 4 aces. Chmelik had 5 kills and 5 aces. Megan Rehder had 4 kills and 3 aces. Frei had 2 kills, 16 assists and 7 aces. Rachel Waters had 2 kills, 5 assists and an ace. 
With the 2-2 record on the week Summit is now 3-6 in league play and 6-13 overall.
