Boys Scouts hold Court of Honor
On Tuesday, Oct. 22, Troop 638 held a Court of Honor for 6 young men.
Boys that received awards and rank advancement were Carson Schmidt for Grizzly Awards and Star Scout rank, Blaze Berdoy for Grizzly Awards and a camp in Washington plus his Life Scout rank, Tate Berdoy for Grizzly Awards and a camp in Washington plus First Class rank, Kevin Tillinghast for Grizzly Awards and First Class Rank, Hunter Chaffee for Grizzly Awards and Star rank, Jared Coppernoll for Grizzly Awards and Drew Cochran, who is currently working on his Eagle Scout project.
The boys have been busy since school has started. Upcoming activities for the boys are picking up food bags on Nov. 9 starting at 9 a.m. If you get missed, just give a Scout family a call and we will get your donation to our local Food Bank.
Veterans Day is Monday, Nov. 11. At dusk the boys will be retiring several U.S. Flags (weather permitting). The community is welcome to attend.
A campout is scheduled for the end of the month.
