This is American Education week
American Education Week—November 18-22, 2013—presents all Americans with a wonderful opportunity to celebrate public education and honor individuals who are making a difference in ensuring that every child receives a quality education.
Each year, American Education Week is celebrated during the last full week before Thanksgiving and was first celebrated in 1921.  Begun as part of an effort to raise Americas literacy rate after WWI, American Education Week now serves as a special opportunity to shine a light on the great things that schools do.  Please encourage your family, co-workers and friends to wear school colors during this week and send a “Thank You” card to a school staff member.
The Prairie Booster Club would like to thank all of the staff from the Prairie schools for their dedication to our children.
