Library News
There is a lot of shaking and moving going on in the library right now. The little folks are really shaking and moving duringBob Daily and Brent Goeckner work on the new shelving in the Library. Photo provided by Laurine Nightingale. Story Time. Their enthusiasm is contagious. Bring your little ones in and join them for an hour of fun and activities.
Brent Goeckner has also had a little moving going on while helping to design and install new shelves in the children’s section. Bob Daily has been assisting with the project.
The new face in the library is Melissa Wilson who is participating in a job training program. Drop in and introduce yourself to her, and while there take a look at a new selection of books that are now available for your reading enjoyment.
Among them are three books written by area authors. The first is title As ever yours C.B. by author Sharon Bruneel of McCall who writes of her grandfather, Camiel Bruneel, and his struggle to keep his family alive in Belgium during World War I and their migration eventually to Idaho.
Another is the book The Contemplative Stroller by Lewiston author Tom Campbell and A little bit of Wisdom, Conversations with a Nez Perce Elder by well known elder and author, Horace Axtell.
Each week as new books are being displayed we welcome your suggestions on what books to purchase.
Please remember your loved ones through memorial donations to the Library.
