Library News
Have you read a good book lately? I just finished “Lioness of Idaho” Louise Shadduck and the Power of Polite, a biography by author Mike Bullard. It had been mentioned in a previous news article. What a fantastic lady. It was very interesting and easy to read. She certainly had influence in molding Idaho into what a great state it is today. Come check it out.
The children’s area is still in progress and the staff is sorting and organizing books. The new shelves designed and installed by Brent Goeckner are wonderful. Volunteering when needed has been Robert Daley. We thank them both for a job well done.
The Story Hour continues with Miss Pollyanna bringing each book to life. This has made the program a huge success with the little listeners and even the big people.
New reading material is continuing to arrive so the selection is growing each week. Suggestions are welcome for the books, you the reader, would like to see in the library. Also available is internet service, fax and copy machine. Free membership for a year is available to any person who has not held a library card in the past.
Congratulations and Good Luck to Coach Mader and the Lady Pirates on their way to State. Continue to make us proud.
