Cottonwood City Council meets
Jack Duman was presented a plaque of appreciation for his 10 years of service to the Cottonwood City Council at the Council’s February meeting Monday, Feb. 10.
In the reports, Pat Holthaus noted there were some repairs made on well #5. There was a 22.9% loss of water pumped this past month.
Ron Grant reported the chlorine plant repairs are almost completed.
In the street report it was noted that Pat Enneking has been plowing a lot of snow.
Shelli Schumacher reported on the progress of the hall basement remodeling.
Grant reported there were 2 fire calls this past month, a chimney fire and an extrication.
The Ironwood, LLC housing area was discussed but no decisions were made.
A catering permit was approved for the Rome Pilgrimage Mardi Gras Spaghetti Feed set for March 4.
A decision on a catering permit request from St. Mary’s Hospital for their Mardi Gras celebration set for March 22 was tabled to the March meeting.
The next regular meeting of the council is set for Monday, March 10 at 7 p.m.
