Kendrick ends Lady Patriots season
The Summit Lady Patriots season came to an end in the second place game at District as they lost to Kendrick 33-48 Thursday, Feb. 13 at the LCSC Activity Center in Lewiston.
Kendrick took control early as they took a 10-18 lead by the end of the first quarter.
Summit was able to muster just 3 points in the second quarter as they trailed 13-25 at the half.
It was 24-42 after three quarters. Summit did manage to outscore Kendrick in the fourth quarter but it was too little, too late.
Sarah Chmelik led the Summit scoring effort with 14 points. Megan Rehder scored 7, while Rachael Frei and Megan Seubert scored 5 each and Ally Hale scored 2.
Summit ends their season with a 17-5 record with 3 of those losses coming to Kendrick while the other 2 losses came to Nezperce, the other District 2 representative to State.
