'Pinocchio' set for Friday performances
The charming tale of PINOCCHIO, the wooden puppet who longed to become a real, live boy, comes to life this Friday, March 21, when the Missoula Children's Theatre (MCT) and more than 50 local students perform an original, musical adaptation of this classic tale.  
The local cast features Pinocchio as Maria Munger, Laina Sonnen as the Blue Fairy, Katteri Duman as Jiminy Cricket, Julia Wemhoff as the villainous Fox and Chloe Rowland as the mischievous Cat.  Also featured are Racheal Gimmeson, Halle Klapprich, and Taylor Riener as Puppets, Laurel Henry as Pinocchio's tough friend, Candlewick, and Morgan Poxleitner, Wes Munger, Ravin Cronan, and Travis Alfrey as Candlewick's Crew.  To complete the ensemble, Amber Halligan, Josie Remacle, Molly Schwartz, Alexis Shears, Sydnee Bruegeman, Mattie Lustig, Sapphire Yorke, Ciara Chaffee, Cole Martin, and Jesse Cronan will appear as Urchins, James Biltz, Kyle Schwartz, Evan Schwartz, Jordan Farnworth, Adeline Geis, Keenan Shears,Kaylee Pikus, Carlee Pikus, Olivia Klapprich, Mary Schwartz, Amanda Halligan, Tara Schlader, Cheyenne Keith, Shae Dinning, Noelle Biltz, Sierra McWilliams, Arielle Halligan, and Miranda Klapprich as the School Kids, and Hyram Pikus, Syndey Shears, Ember Martin, Kaylie Lockett, Morgan Pack, Addison Vanderwall, Callie Remacle, Kasandra Dinning, Dylan Klapprich, and Bailey Key as the masterfully crafted Toys. J.D. Howard, Madison Shears, and Katelin Spears have served as Assistant Directors throughout the week. Madison Rehder will play the piano.          
PINOCCHIO will be presented at 1:00 pm and 7:00 pm at the Prairie High School Gym.  Tickets are $5.00 per Adult and $3.00 per student and are available at and at the door.
