Grangeville’s New Sport – Disc Golf!
W/Th May 28th& 29th; 6-8 pm

At:  GEMS Community Room & Lion’s Park
Disc (Frisbee) Golf is a rapidly growing sport with 55 courses in Idaho.  Here’s a beginner class for those who would like to play the new (free) disc golf course at the Lion’s Park.  This class will first meet at the GEMS Community Room where you will learn about disc golf and watch videos on throwing techniques.  The class meets the next night at the Lion’s Park to play the game.
A Walk in the Woods
Sat May 31st; 9:30 – 1:30 p.m.

At:  Monastery of St. Gertrude
Treat your senses to a forest ecosystem as you take an educational walk through the woodlands adjacent to the Monastery of St. Gertrude.  Wildflowers will be blooming and learn to identify them, as well as other plants and trees.  Learn what we can do to help the vitality of our forests and protect them for future generations.  You’ll return home with a set of tree ring coasters as a memento of your woodland experience!
