to sponsor fun run
St. Mary’s Hospital will be sponsoring a “Fun in the Sun Looped til’ you’re Pooped” Fun/Run on June 18th. The course will begin in the back parking lot of the hospital; registration is at 5:30PM with the race beginning at 6:00PM. The course will be a loop around the hospital, North Street to Lewiston Street to Front Street and up a trail back to the parking lot. Participants can walk and/or run as many loops as they can in one hour, they will receive a ticket for each loop completed. Those tickets can then be put into a drawing for prizes; there will be three big prizes to choose from. There will also be a random drawing for everyone who participates in the race. “We are not giving out shirts or numbers for this race,” said race co-chairman Trina Geis. “We just want people to have fun and have a chance to win some fun prizes.” The cost of the race is $10.00, entries will be accepted until the day of the race; children 12 and under will be free. All proceeds will be donated to the SMH Relay for Life Team. Registration forms may be picked up at the Cottonwood Clinic or at the hospital front desk. |
