School Year 2014 coming to a close, next events being planned. The booster club would like to send out our congratulations to the graduates this year. We wish you the best and hope that all your dreams fall into place in your future. Thank you also to all the people who supported the booster club this year as we try and support the athletic and academic success of the students of Prairie Schools. Those teachers and coaches who would like to advance your teams or programs, please make your requests to the booster club. We have dollars to help with things that benefit our students. Please feel free to call me or email me during the summer or any time during the year to see about our support in your efforts. The booster club is currently handing out awards to students and boosters who have done great things this year. Something to be proud of is how many of our students will be receiving recognition for their academic success this year. I know because of having to sign all the certificates. Great job to all of you. Also we would like to recognize one person at this time as the Booster Club #1 Fan of the year. This award goes to Father Meinrad who always seemed to make the games at the High School a priority and showed great sportsmanship in cheering for great plays by both teams during games. Congratulations and thank you for your support. On the fundraising side of the Booster club, we have a Pirate Power Sports Raffle going on right now. So buy your tickets. A new Polaris 400 4x4 4 wheeler is the prize. Only 350 tickets are being sold. $50 per ticket gets your name in the hat. Not only a great prize but a great way to support next year’s students at the Prairie Schools. Tickets are on sale from the booster officers, at Buds Saw Service and other locations. Drawing will be held as soon as possible, which hopefully means in June when all tickets are sold.
