Bruner receives Recycling award
For over a year, the Idaho County Recycling Steering Committee has been discussing Rebekah Bruner’s Not everyone receives an award that will be named after them as Rebekah Bruner did.participation in our recycling efforts, and that we would like to recognize her numerous contributions and truly thank her for her continuous efforts.  Recently we decided to establish an award based on her exemplary involvement.  The award will be called the “Rebekah Bruner Excellence Award in Recycling,” and will be available to other individuals who satisfy a commitment to excellence in volunteering with Idaho County’s recycling program. Jay Hinterlong led the discussion in which we decided to recognize Bruner for all her efforts in assisting Idaho County Recycling for the last four years.  Among Rebekah’s many contributions, we have noted that her authoritative persuasion helped the schools to become involved in recycling.  Rebekah was a major force in educating the students, and her masterful efforts included converting many of her fellow students to become recycling volunteers.  In addition, she personally transported the school’s recyclables to our recycling site.  Jay Hinterlong presented the award to Ms. Bruner at the Senior Awards Assembly on May 28, 2014.
