recaptured near Clarkston
The two inmates who escaped from North Idaho Correctional Institution on Wednesday, June 4, are back in custody. Acting on a tip, Asotin County sheriff’s deputies found Tyler Dean Davis, 23, and Dylan James Ames, 23 near Swallows Park south of Clarkston, Washington at about 7 p.m. PDT Saturday, June 7. The men were taken into custody without incident. Davis, IDOC #103798, and Ames, IDOC #107450, fled from the Cottonwood prison on Wednesday morning while helping unload a delivery truck. Davis’ criminal history includes a felony conviction for grand theft in Ada County. Ames’ criminal history includes felony convictions for possession of a controlled substance and two counts of illegal possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver in Kootenai County. The men now face the possibility of additional charges related to their escape. |
