Summit loses to Deary
The Summit Lady Patriots gave undefeated Deary all they could handle before falling in 4 games at Craigmont Thursday, Sept. 11.
Scores were 23-25, 25-23, 9-25, 16-25.
Summit rallied in the middle of the first game to take a lead before narrowly losing 23-25.
Summit turned the tables in the second game and pulled out a 2-point win to even the match.
They could not ride that momentum though as Deary came back to win big in the third game and then held off the Patriots in the fourth and deciding game.
Summit is now 1-2 in regular matches, 0-2 in league play.
They also competed in the Grangeville Tournament Saturday, Sept. 13 but we have no info on how they did although we do know that Ally Sonnen was named to the all-tournament team.
Summit’s Megan Seubert goes for a block against Deary.
Ally Sonnen makes a pass in Summit’s match against Deary at Craigmont last week. #7 is Lucy Osborne.
Summit’s Rachel Waters serves against Deary.
