Summit loses at Logos
The Summit Lady Patriots had just 1 match this past week as they lost a league match at Logos in 4 games.Summit’s Rachel Waters sets the ball at Logos as  Megan Seubert, 12 gets ready for the kill while Lauren Stubbers watches.
Scores were 16-25, 25-21,12-25, 13-25.
Summit took a 4-2 lead in the opening game as Megan Seubert scored a pair of kills and a stuff block and Rachel Waters added an ace but Logos responded with 6 straight points to take a 4-9 lead.
Summit got within 3 at 10-13 but another 6 straight points by the Knights put the game out of reach.
Waters served Summit to a 3-0 lead in the second game as Lauren Stubbers scored a kill and Waters added 2 aces. 
Logos came back to take the lead a couple times during the game but Summit was then able to get the side out and retake the lead.
Logos held their last lead at 13-14 when they bricked a serve. Waters served an ace to tie it and a kill by Seubert and another ace put Summit on top.
Logos never again led in the game although they were able to tie it at 17 and again at 21. Both times Ally Sonnen scored a kill for the sideout to put Summit back on top.
Sonnen then served out the game with an ace then a kill and a stuff by Seubert.
In the third game Summit quickly fell behind 0-4 and 2-11 and were never able to recover as Logos went on to win big.
The fourth and final game followed a similar script as Logos jumped out to leads of 1-9 and 3-11. Summit could get no closer than 6 the rest of the game and that was at 3-9 after a kill by Sonnen.
Sonnen had 19 kills including 5 stuffs and added 3 aces. Seubert had 14 kills including 5 stuffs plus 2 assists and an ace.
Lauren Stubbers had 5 kills, 2 assists and 4 aces. Waters had 20 assists, 1 kill and 6 aces. Ashlee Stubbers and Coco Garcia each had a kill while Lucy Osborne had 1 assist and 1 ace.
Since the beginning of the season Summit has lost one player and gained two others and now has 8 players on the roster. Kaitlyn Stubbers transferred to Prairie while foreign exchange students Nachi and Coco Garcia have joined the team.
Summit is now 2-5 on the season and 1-5 in league play.
