groups are starting
Moms' groups for the Cottonwood area are starting up for the 2014-2015 year. Last year over 30 women gathered in small book groups to support each other in the aspects of faith, family, and friendship. These are the books being offered this year: Walking with Purpose, by Lisa Brenninkmeyer, helps you uncover the key to living a busy life with inner calm and balance. Cost $6. Parenting with Grace: A Catholic Parents' Guide to Raising (Almost) Perfect Kids, by Gregory K. Popcak, MSW, LCSW, and Lisa Popcak, helps parents discover their own God-given instruction manual for raising their children. Cost $12. Chosen and Cherised, by Kimberly Hahn, helps women build their marriage on a firm foundation of faith, as it opens up Proverbs 31. Cost $14. The Walking with Purpose groups are available on Monday evening and Thursday evening. The Parenting with Grace group will meet on Thursday morning. The Chosen and Cherished group’s meeting time is yet to be determined, based on interest. Each of the groups will have their own schedules, tentatively meeting once each month. Hopefully, babysitting services will be exchanged among the members of the groups. A group order for books will be placed on Friday, October 10, or you may obtain a copy on your own. Everyone is welcome!! You do not need to be a mom to join us!! And though the reading material comes from Catholic authors, women of any faith background are encouraged to participate!!
