Girls Basketball awards

The Prairie girls basketball team had their awards night last Tuesday, March 3. Shown are the plaque winners. From left are Angela Wemhoff, Pirate Award; Tasha Gimmeson, co-captain; Kayla Schumacher, co-captain and Most Valuable; Krystin Uhlenkott, co-captain and Defense/Most Inspirational; Sydney Bruner, JV most improved; Leah Higgins, JV Most Valuable and Hailey Danly, co-captain. Local players selected for All-Star games
The North-South All-Star games were held Wednesday night, March 11th at Lapwai High School.  The girls game began at 6:30 followed by the boys game.  Kayla Schumacher, Lucas Arnzen, Tanner Ross and Rhett Schlader from Prairie have been selected to play as has Josh Lustig from Summit Academy.
The Washington-Idaho All Star Game will be held next Tuesday, March 17th at Clarkston High School.  The girls game begins at 6:00 follow by boys game.
Schumacher has been selected for the girls team while Arnzen Ross and Schlader have been selected for the boys team.
Lori Mader has been selected as a girls coach for both games.
