Rocks activity night
On February 25, 2015 the Kindness Rocks Group from Prairie Elementary held an activity night. 30 students from grades 4, 5, and 6th along with 6 volunteers enjoyed the activities. The activities consisted of teambuilding games, making bookmarks, and making dog treats. At the teambuilding station we did three games: one of them was working together to untangle each other. Another activity was getting through the landmine without blowing up. Every group got through it. We also played a lava game where you had to get the bucket of water off the island. At the 2nd station we made bookmarks for the whole school. They looked awesome! At the 3rd station we made and baked dog treats for the Animal Ark in Grangeville. We made 3 different kinds of dog treats. One was a honey, peanut butter bagel, next we made a parsley, carrot and spinach bagel, and the last one was an oatmeal, carrot, cheese, and peanut butter bagel. Everyone had fun thanks to the following volunteers; Tara Ross, Cara Duman (dog treats), Erin Shears, Jennifer Riener and Mrs. Sonnen (bookmarks) and Megan and Jason Rambo (team building).
