The Jungle Book is Missoula Children's Theatre production
Hey! No monkeyin’ around. This Friday, March 20, 2015 at the Prairie High School Gym join your favorite bunch of Jungle Book characters as they try to catch a tiger by the tail when the Missoula Children's Theatre and more than 50 local students present THE JUNGLE BOOK, an original musical adaptation of Rudyard Kipling’s classic.
The local cast of THE JUNGLE BOOK includes Maria Munger as Mowgli (the man-cub) with Alexis Schumacher as Young Mowgli, as well as Raven Yorke as Bagheera (the panther) and Lee Forsmann as Akela (the leader of the pack), and Josie Remacle, Rachael Gimmeson, Katteri Duman, Bailey Hankerson, Adelyn Geis, Taylor Riener, Sarah Lustig, Kaylee Pikus, Carlee Pikus, Chloe Rowland, Mikayla Rose, and Amanda Halligan make up the entire wolfpack and Mattie Lustig, Jaydee Howard, Jack Chamber, Carter Shears, Kaylee Lockett, Chloe Howard, Harlee Brannan, and Hyrum Pikus as the Wolf Family. Laina Sonnen is featured as Shere Khan and Morgan Poxleinter plays his sidekick Tabaqui (the jackal).  Nag and Nagaina (the cobras) are Dean Johnson, and Amber Halligan. Darzee (the bird) is played by Trinity Martinez, Jordan Quick is featured as Hathi (the master elephant) and Julia Wemhoff performs the role of Rikki-Tikki-Tavi (the mongoose). Other featured performers include Madison Shears as Kaa (the rock-python) and Halle Klapprich, Tyler Leonard, Anna Everson, Laney Forsmann, Molly Johnson, Sierra McWilliams, Shae Dinning, Brian Pascoe, Keenan Shears, Arielle Halligan, and Olivia Klapprich as the body of Kaa, and Wes Munger as Buck (a buck.) Monkeyin’ around throughout the entire show are the Monkey-People, played by Henry Lustig, Ammon Pikus, Alaina Lustig, Sydney Shears, Ryan Stewart, Nate Forsmann, Dylan Klapprich, Bailey Key, Levi McElroy, Lillianne Lustig, Maggie Nuxoll, Miah Mager, Kane McIntire, Halee Rowland, Addison Marsee, and Tommy Rose. Ellea Uhlenkott, Hailey Betts, Eve Uhlenkott, Madeline Betts have served as Assistant Directors all week.
THE JUNGLE BOOK will be presented at 1:00 pm and 7:00 pm at the Prairie High School Gym. Cost is $5.00 per adult and $3.00 for school aged children.  Tickets are available at the door.
