Clinic to host Health Fair April 7
St. Mary’s Hospital and Clinics will be sponsoring a Health Fair at their Cottonwood Clinic on April 7th from 5:30pm to 7:00pm. Participants will be able to get their blood pressure checked, their BMI calculated and have an A1C test completed; theA1C test reflects the average of a person’s blood glucose levels over the past 3 months. They will also receive a free Fecal Immunochemical Test (FIT) which is a non-invasive pre-screening test that helps find precancerous polyps so they can be removed before they turn into cancer. There will also be nutritional information, giveaways and a chance to win prizes. Megan Wilson; DNP, APRN will give a presentation on immunizations at 6:00pm. |
